What should I bring to Class?
A blog post from FreshFit MK
For our indoor classes and during the summer for outdoor classes, all you need in addition to your training kit are trainers, and something to drink.
During the Winter months you will need to be a little more prepared for Outdoor Bootcamp Sessions.
Clothing Layering works best during the winter months, two thin tops are warmer than one thick one. Many sports tops now use high-wicking materials which keep you warm by taking the sweat away from your skin. These tops allow you to stay warm without overheating. It is worth investing in a pair of gloves and a hat, as the extremities are always the first thing to go cold.
Do check your trainers too, worn out soles will make you slide on the wet ground, increasing the chance of injuries. Trainers should be replaced once every six months and we recommend cross-trainers for the winter. These are an excellent investment and are great for muddy ground.
Hydration drink plenty of water before, during and after the class to remain hydrated.
After the class Try to get out of your wet clothes before putting on some warm clothes. There is no point in putting dry clothing over wet clothing as you will still remain cold.
Remember to pack a dry t-shirt and a fleece type top for after the class. If you drive to the class, seat covers or a bin liner are good ideas to protect your car seats if you get wet or muddy.
